Purge-it! for EnterpriseOne is the only purge and archive solution that is fully integrated into your EnterpriseOne application.

Modules

Purge-it! breaks down the purging process into easy-to-run modules which represent application areas within JD Edwards. Each module can be installed and licensed individually so that you only need to purchase licenses for the modules you require.

Modules are run as a standard UBE using either one of the pre-configured versions supplied with Purge-it! or a custom version that you configure to meet your specific requirements. Optional validation and data selection can be changed to suit your particular scenario, but Purge-it! will always ensure that data integrity is maintained.

Integrity

Purge-it! uses mandatory validation and transaction-level processing to ensure that data integrity is maintained regardless of the configuration you use.

Audit

A complete audit trail is generated during every Purge-it! session.  The audit information allows you to analyse any errors that occurred, see exactly what has been purged and refine your configuration for future sessions.

Reversible

All Purge-it! sessions are fully reversible. Using the audit trail data, Purge-it! can reverse every database transaction as if the purge never took place. This is all performed at the touch of a button or the submission of a standard purge reversal report.

Archive

Data purged from your JD Edwards database is placed in archive tables. This data is still accessible through new archive applications that mirror the standard JD Edwards inquiry for the application area.

Access to the archive data is seamless to the end user and is maintained through your production environment. This removes the need to maintain separate environments for archive access.

All Purge-it! modules have a suite of archive applications enabling access to the archived data using the standard JD Edwards application interface.

Low Implementation Costs

Since Purge-it! installs as an ASU into your EnterpriseOne application, installation and implementation could not be easier. The purge jobs run as standard EnterpriseOne Reports, the configuration is simple as it is setting up processing options and report data selection.

Access to the application is maintained through standard EnterpriseOne menus and security. This all makes the product simple and easy to learn and use as no further third party package training is required.
